Why I Ought to be a Christian

Acts 11:24-26

24   for he (Cornelius) was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith; and much people was added unto the Lord.  25 And he went forth to Tarsus to seek for Saul;  26   and when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch.  And it came to pass, that even for a whole year they were gathered together with the church, and taught much people; and that the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

 

1 Pet 4:16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.

 

Why should I be a Christian?

 

•Because it is what God wants me to be: Rom 3:21-26

 

•Because  as  a Christian I glorify God: John 15:1-8

 

•Because of my community influence: Mt 5:3, 13

 

•Because of my family responsibility: Deut 6:4-9

 

•Because of the value of my soul: Mt 20:28, Mt 26:28, Heb 2:9

 

•Because it is the only way to Heaven: Acts 4:12
