Hebrews 5:12-14

 

A mature Christian...

 

I.          Is dependable  --  Phil. 2:19

 

II         Strives to do all the Lord’s will  --  Matt. 7:24-27

 

III.       Receives correction profitably  --  Gal. 4:16

 

IV.       Distinguishes truth from error  --  Heb. 5:12-14

 

V.        Does not seek his own way  --      Phil. 2:1-4

 

VI.       Is not easily offended  --  Rom. 12:12;    1Cor. 14-20             

 

VII.      Is not attracted by worldliness  --    1 John 2:15; Gal 5:19; Col. 3:5

 

VIII.     Has affections set on things above  --  Col. 3:1-4

 

IX.       Is not carried away by false doctrine  --  Acts 20:28-30; Eph. 4:14

 

X.        Is not moved by persecution  --       2 Tim. 3:12;  1 Pet. 1:6-7
